<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roll for an electrophotographic apparatus, capable of preventing toner particles from sticking on a blade for forming a layer over a long period of time, to provide a mold for molding capable of manufacturing such a developing roll, and to provide a method for manufacturing a mold for molding. <P>SOLUTION: A large number of protrusions 14a having the ratio of the height h to the diameter ϕ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>(h/ϕ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>) of each of the protrusions being equal to or more than 1, are formed on the surface of a rubber elastic layer 14 by mold transferring, in which the rubber elastic layer 14 is formed on the outer periphery of a shaft body 12 by a molding. The mold for molding used for molding is provided, on the inner peripheral surface of a mold base material for molding, with a plating film on which a large number of recesses having the ratio of the depth d<SB POS="POST">2</SB>to the diameter ϕ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>(d<SB POS="POST">2</SB>/ϕ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>) of each of the recesses being equal to or more than 1 are formed. The plating film is acquired by dissolving and removing resin particles in an electroless plating layer after forming the electroless plating layer containing the resin particles in the inner peripheral surface of the mold base material for molding.
