<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink suction system or the like that can not only form an appropriate meniscus but also shorten a time needed for suction processing. <P>SOLUTION: There are included: a head interior pressurizing device 78 that gives positive pressure into an ink jet head 51 via an ink supply device 10 that supplies ink into the ink jet head 51; and a suction device 14 that gives negative pressure into a suction cap 71a disjunctively contact closely with a nozzle face 57 to suck the ink from the ink jet head 51. After driving the head interior pressurizing device 78 and the suction device 14 to start the suction processing including giving positive pressure into the ink jet head 51 and sucking the ink from the ink jet head 51, the control device 13 performs continuous control to continue the drive of the head interior pressurizing device 78 until a difference between the pressure in the suction cap 71a and the atmospheric pressure reaches a predetermined value after the drive of the suction device 14 is stopped when the suction process finishes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
