<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens device facilitating operations of functions separately provided in a lens side and an imaging device side and capable of performing a smooth photographing. <P>SOLUTION: A lens device 8 removably attached to an imaging device 9 comprises: a first operation member 17 for switching a display mode of an electronic view finder of the imaging device between a standard mode for displaying a whole photographing screen and an enlargement mode for displaying an enlarged part of the photographing screen; a second operation member 18 for selecting either an autofocus mode or a manual focus mode; a lens side contact block 21 which is connected to an imaging device side contact block of the imaging device; and lens communication means 15 for communicating with the imaging device.
