<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barium titanate precursor water solution which has no occurrence in deterioration accompanying the generation of precipitation or the like on storage, and can be preserved over a long term in barium titanate useful as a ferroelectric substance and a semiconductor material, and a water-soluble dried gel thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A peroxotitanic acid complex synthesized by suitably removing surplus hydrogen peroxide is used as a titanium raw material, and a water-soluble barium salt is used as a barium raw material. By adjusting the pH of their mixed solution to the range of 8 to 9, its stability over a long term is improved. The water solution 13 withstands preservation over a long period, and further, the water solution 13, itself can be applied to thin film synthesis as a water base coat liquid. By performing drying, a water-soluble gelled solid, i.e., a water-soluble barium titanate precursor 14 can be obtained, and it also can be preserved over a long term. The water-soluble barium titanate precursor 14 can be dissolved into water any number of times. The water-soluble barium titanate precursor gives barium titanate by firing at a temperature lower than that in the conventional method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
