<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejector that prevents a deterioration in ejection characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejector includes: a liquid ejection head having a plurality of nozzles for ejecting liquid; a conveying part for conveying a carrier medium to a facing region facing the liquid ejection head; a support part for supporting the carrier medium arranged in the facing region; a cover movably provided so as to protect the support part; and a cover driving part that allows the cover to be arranged between the carrier medium and the support part according to the movement of the carrier medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
