POLYESTER FIBER AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A polyester yarn used in a fabric and a method for fabricating the same are provided to ensure excellent mechanical property and to safely prevent passengers from shock. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating polyester yarn comprises: a step of melting and spinning polyester polymers with 1.2 dl/g of intrinsic viscosity at 270-310°C to prepare polyester undrawn yarn; and a step of extending the polyester undrawn yarn. The difference of intrinsic viscosity between the polyethylene terephthatlate polymers and polyester yarn is 0.7 dl/g or less. A polyester fabric contains the polyester yarn.
