TORQUE CONVERTOR HAVING TORSIONAL TWIN DAMPER

PURPOSE: A torque converter is provided to reinforce the structural intensity of a turbine damper by interlinking a turbine and a driven plate into one body. CONSTITUTION: An impeller(6) is combined to a front cover and revolves with the front cover. A turbine(8) is arranged to be faced to the impeller. A reactor is arranged between the impeller and the turbine. The reactor changes the flow of oil provided from the turbine into the impeller side. A piston moves to a direction which is parallel to a rotary shaft by fluid pressure. A lock-up clutch(14) directly interlinks the front cover and the turbine. A torsional damper(20) absorbs impacts and vibrations actuating to a rotational direction. A hook plate is combined to the piston. A driven plate is combined to the hook plate. A retaining plate is combined to the driven plate. A drive plate is arranged between the driven plate and the retaining plate and is connected to a spline hub.
