<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing optical sheets, on whose flanks a rugged shape is formed, without using any conventional metal mold and in a manner improved in production efficiency and reduced in cost. <P>SOLUTION: An optical sheet 30 is fixed by clamping from both sides in a thickness direction z and, a tip 71, on which a rugged shape matching a plurality of convexes is formed, is shifted in the thickness direction z relative to flanks 33 to enable the flanks 33 to be cut. This enables the optical sheet 30, on whose flanks a rugged shape is formed, to be manufactured by cutting with a cutter 70 having the reverse-shaped tip 71, on which a rugged shape matching convexes 35 of the flanks 33 is formed, without using any conventional metal mold and therefore production efficiency can be improved and cost can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
