PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a three-dimensional shape of a body fast with high precision with respect to a space coding method.

SOLUTION: Parts of edges of slit light patterns of a plurality of frequencies such that positions of respective edges do not overlap are specified from respective picked-up images obtained by projecting the slit light patterns on a subject. Then when parts of edges of picked-up images of two or more slit light patterns overlap, reliability of distance calculated values of positions corresponding to the edges is decreased.
