<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker device, designed to add directivity by using a speaker array, which brings a difference in sound volume balance between left and right due to a difference in listening position closer to the feeling of a general stereo and also broadens a range in which stereo feeling is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: A speaker device 1 in an embodiment of the prevent invention includes a speaker array having a plurality of speaker units disposed at the front of an enclosure and signal processing means which, by applying signal processing to audio data, generates audio data supplied one for one to each of the plural speaker units. The content of this signal processing includes a first signal handling process in which a virtual focus, or a virtual output position, of sound based on one channel output from the plurality of speaker units disposed in a first region is set to a rear side behind the first region and a virtual focus of sound based on other channels output from the plurality of speaker units disposed in a second region is set to a rear side behind the second region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
