<p>Disclosed is a system and method for tagging an electronic resource by providing an intuitive user interface that can be accessed directly right clicking the resource file displayed by operating system file explorer and selecting user interface program listed in menu or by invoking from within the respective resource handling program or by invoking from a browser. After tagging a resource, tag data can be saved as a XML document. Tag data or resource content or both can be submitted to a designated repository. By creating multi-dimensional fact table records derived from tag data values and exposing their prepared data to search engines and algorithms, search for any resource is facilitated. Search can be performed on tag data in tag data XML documents. Any resource searched, identified, accessed and downloaded from above said repository by any search algorithm is accounted for and statistics are maintained. A reward system assigns points to users based on above said counts and specific criteria.</p> |
