<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag, an airbag apparatus, and a tether sewing method allowing a tether to be positioned easily and accurately. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an airbag 1 that is folded up in a normal time and is inflated and deployed in an emergency. The airbag includes: an outer panel 2 of the airbag 1; a tether 3 sewn to an outer panel 2 and configured to restrict a shape of the airbag 1 when the airbag 1 is inflated and deployed. The airbag has a first pin hole 21 formed on the outer panel 2 side in a contact region where the outer panel 2 and the tether 3 contact each other, a second pin hole 31 formed at a position corresponding to the first pin hole 21 on the tether 3 side at the contact region of the outer panel 2 and the tether 3, and a folded back portion 32 sewn to the outer panel 2 to cover the first and second pin holes 21, 31 by folding back the tether 3. By inserting a positioning pin through the first and second pin holes 21, 31, the outer panel 2 and the tether 3 are fixed and sewn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
