<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and structure for farming capable of rooting a floating larva of a bivalve submerging in sand, and growing the larva to a young shell or adult shellfish. <P>SOLUTION: A fence 1 is prepared in a location where water flows from the flux or the reflux. A perforated tube 2 is installed inside the fence 1. A power-particle body 31 with a large diameter is filled at the bottom of the fence 1, and a power-particle body 32 with a small diameter is filled thereon. A separation net 4 is provided between the power-particle body 31 and the power-particle body 32. The upper surface of the fence 1 is covered with a net-shaped member 5. The power diameter of the power-particle body 31 is preferably within a range of 20-50 mm, and the power diameter of the power-particle body 32 is preferably within a range of 1-19 mm.
