<p>Regarding managed copies, if discs, which are copy sources, can be individually identified one by one, then it is possible to acquire information as to, for example, how many times the copying has been carried out from each of those discs, which enables a variety of services to be utilized. However, the problem is that since BCA useful for individual identification is recorded on discs one by one by use of laser, the cost of manufacturing is high. This problem can be solved by switching copy processes according to whether the ID information of each optical disc includes unique ID information or not.</p> |
