PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing silica aerogel is provided to save costs required for manufacturing processes and to protect environment by rapidly substituting solvents and collecting and reusing the solvents. CONSTITUTION: Hydrochloric acid is reacted with sodium silicate to obtain silica(S10). NaCl components are eliminated from the silicate. A solvent and a silylating agent are mixed with desalted silica to be silylated(S30). The silylated silica and the solvent are mixed under a vacuum state to substitute the solvent(S40). The silica without moisture is dried. In the substituting process, the moisture washed solvent is liquefied using a condenser(S100). Impurities are eliminated from the liquefied solvent. The solvent is separated into water and pure solvent in a reactor(S140). The pure solvent is stored in a solvent collecting bath(S160). |
