PURPOSE: A home hub terminal with an instant messaging function and a home hub terminal with the home hub terminal are provided to select either one of a PTSN phone and an IP phone for a call. CONSTITUTION: A PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) phone module(305) forms a call channel through a PSTN. An IP(Internet Protocol) phone module(307) forms a call channel through an IP network. A control unit(315) controls the PSTN phone module and the IP phone module by a user's input or a preset routine. A messenger module(309) provides an instant messaging function. A groupware module provides a groupware service. |
