<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder suitably avoidable of bad influence of cut powder attaching to an unrecorded portion of a recording medium on recording treatment, and to provide a recording method in the recorder. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 10 includes: a transfer mechanism 30 transferring long print paper S along a transfer passage T; a recoding part 80 conducting print treatment to the printing paper S normally transferred from the upstream side to the downstream side at a recording position PA on the transfer passage T; a cutting part 90 cutting the print paper S at a cutting position PC on the downstream side of the recording position PA to separate the recorded portion SB from the unrecorded portion SA on the upstream side of the portion; and a transfer roller 61 removing the paper powder sticking to the unrecorded portion at the removal position PR on the downstream side of the cutting position when the print paper is forwardly transferred so that the tip end ST of the unrecorded portion is located on the downstream side of the cutting position. The printing treatment by the printing part is conducted to the unrecorded portion where the paper powder is removed by the transfer roller by reversely transferring the print paper to the recording position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
