<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer recording medium whose transfer sensitivity is high during high speed printing, in other words, which can reduce dye to be used for a dye layer, and which, after stored in a high temperature and high humidity condition, prevents abnormal transfer during printing. <P>SOLUTION: In a thermal transfer recording medium with a heat-resistant slippery layer 40 provided on one side of the base material 10, and an underlayer 20 and a dye layer 30 sequentially formed on the other side of the base material 10, the underlayer 20 is formed by applying and drying a coating liquid consisting primarily of water-soluble polymer and at least either one of alkoxide and/or its hydrolysate and tin chloride. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
