摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or suppress noise generated in a high pressure pump at the time of low idling. <P>SOLUTION: Fuel in a fuel tank 9 is pressurized by a high pressure pump 7 and pressure-fed to a common rail 1 for enabling injection of the high pressure fuel to an engine 3 via fuel injection valves 2-1 to 2-n connected to the common rail 1. A metering valve 6 is provided on the upstream side of the high pressure pump 7, and a pressure control valve 12 is provided on the downstream side of the high pressure pump 7, respectively so that the rail pressure of the common rail 1 is controlled by driving control of the metering valve 6 and the pressure control valve 12 by an electronic control unit 4. Furthermore, in the case where the engine 3 is determined to be in a low idling state, the electronic control unit 4 has the filling factor of the high pressure pump 7 to be 100% by the metering valve 6 and also it has the rail pressure of the common rail 1 controlled by the pressure control valve 12 so that noise generation in the high pressure pump 7 derived from the low idling state is avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
