<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple structure of an electric connector by omitting a circuit board and a mate electric connector to be fitted to. <P>SOLUTION: A single-unit plug connector 10 is directly fitted to a wall portion of a product cabinet MF. In the fitted state of the single-unit plug connector 10, a contact portion of a contact 12 is made to contact to a contact portion of a wiring pattern conduction path CP exposed on the surface of a fitting connection hole MFa. Thus, electric connection of signal transmission media is made with a simple structure without the intermediary of the conventionally used circuit board and the mate electric connector to be fitted to, mounted on the circuit board. The final fixation of the electric connector is performed by that the connection leg portion of the connector main body and a conductive contact holds the product cabinet in a thickness direction. The fitting connectivity of the electric connector to the product cabinet can be maintained satisfactorily for a long term even if the electric connector is repetitively fitted to and removed from the product cabinet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
