PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate the speed of an observation object observed by a synthetic opening radar.
SOLUTION: As for each of a plurality of estimation speeds, a compression observation calculation part (azimuth compression part 120) obtains a correlation between a series of observation values having prescribed sampling intervals generated from a reception signal and a reference signal corresponding to each of the estimation speeds, and calculates a series of compression observation values having sampling intervals which are shorter than the prescribed sampling intervals. As for each of the plurality of estimation speeds, a peak extraction part 141 extracts the peak of the series of compression observation values calculated by the compression observation calculation part. A speed estimation part 151 obtains the estimation speed at which the peak extracted by the peak extraction part 141 becomes the maximum from among the plurality of estimation speeds, and sets it to the estimation speed of the observation object.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
