<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device which suppresses meandering to normally convey continuous paper by preventing a decrease in tension of the continuous paper associated with a diameter change of a roll body, and to provide a recording device. <P>SOLUTION: The conveying device includes: a supporting part that rotatably supports the roll body 120 constituted by winding long-length continuous paper 12 around a paper tube 121; a driving roller that feeds the continuous paper 12 along a conveying direction from a supporting part side; and a brake part 70 that presses the paper tube 121 in an axial direction, thereby regulating the rotation of the roll body 120 in accordance with the diameter of the roll body 120. The supporting part has a first abutting part 71 provided on one end side in the axial direction of the paper tube 121, and the brake part 70 has: a second abutting part 72 provided on the other end side in the axial direction of the paper tube 121 and also interposing the paper tube 121 between the first abutting part 71 and the second abutting part 72; and an energizing part 73 energizing the second abutting part 72 to a first abutting part 71 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
