<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of easily backing up a boot disk with the operation continuing. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor has controller sections and boot disks each in a redundancy configuration. Each controller section includes an operation continuation control unit that, when its controller section is specified as an operation continuation target at the time of boot disk backup, cancels the redundancy configuration of the controller section, sets a backup target boot disk apart from the controller section, continues operation using a boot disk other than the backup target boot disk, monitors shut-down processing, starts the controller section specified as a shut-down target after the shut-down processing is complete to restore the redundancy configuration, and holds the backup target boot disk as a backup. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
