<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that conducts highly reliable operation over a long period, comprises a circuit protecting a surge protection device, which can be commonly used in many facilities, with an inexpensive system structure and preferably protects electric and electronic apparatuses from surge including lightning surge. <P>SOLUTION: A surge protection device protective system 10 includes: an overcurrent circuit breaker 2 installed between a surge protection device 1, which is installed between an electric power line 5 transmitting commercial electric power and the ground, and the electric power line 5; a coil 3 serially connected between the electric power line 5 and the overcurrent circuit breaker 2, and a discharge gap 4 connected in parallel with a series circuit of the coil 3 and the overcurrent circuit breaker 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
