<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module including a plurality of rectangular-parallelepiped square cells laminated in parallel, in which a thermistor is prevented from being damaged and broken so that temperatures of the cells can be measured accurately at any time. <P>SOLUTION: Each of cells (10) includes: a first face (10<SB POS="POST">1</SB>) which is adjacent to other cell (10) and bulgingly deformed when having an increase in an inner pressure of the cell (10) or the like; and a second face (10<SB POS="POST">2</SB>) which is not adjacent to other cell (10) and not bulgingly deformed even when having an increase in an inner pressure of the cell (10) or the like.
