摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-fuel ratio control device for an internal combustion engine that successfully controls exhaust emission. <P>SOLUTION: The air-fuel ratio control device includes a hysteresis determiner and an air-fuel ratio correction value adjuster. The hysteresis determiner determines whether the output of a downstream side air-fuel ratio sensor is within a hysteresis region. The air-fuel ratio correction value adjuster is configured, if the output of the downstream side air-fuel ration sensor is within the hysteresis region, to decrease the air-fuel ratio correction value when the engine load exceeds the predetermined value, and on the other hand, increase the air-fuel ratio correction value when the engine load does not exceed the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
