<p>Provided are a ligature device wherein shortening the length of a squeezing ring in the axial direction facilitates bending of the insertion part, in which clip units are formed and accommodated in a row, improves flexibility of the insertion part, and improves bendability during insertion into body cavities and conformability to ducts in body cavities; and a clip unit used therein. The clip unit (13) is provided with a main clip body (35) having a pair of arms (41) capable of ligating somatic tissue and a base part (39) that connects the base ends of the arms (41), and a squeezing ring (37) that accommodates the main clip body (35). A plurality of clip units is disposed in series inside the distal end of an outer sheath part (19). The base end (39) of the main clip body (35) of the leading clip unit (13A), which of the plurality of clip units (13) is at the distal end of the outer sheath part (19), is inserted into the arms (41, 41) of the main clip body (35) of the adjacent rearward clip unit (13B) so as to be mutually overlapping.</p> |
