<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a phosphor in which strontium carbonate is used as a strontium compound, and which can thereby form a phosphor of an europium-activated sialon structure with a predetermined composition and structure, and to provide the phosphor, and to provide a light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a phosphor includes: a first baking step in which a first raw material mixture containing a strontium carbonate, silicon nitride, and europium oxide is baked under the H<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-containing gas atmosphere at 1,000°C-1,800°C to obtain a first baked product; and a second baking step in which a second raw material mixture containing the cracking object of the first baked product is baked at 1,400°C-2,200°C under the N<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-containing gas atmosphere to obtain the phosphor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
