<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral device control circuit capable of connecting a plurality of kinds of peripheral devices thereto and reducing power consumption of resources of a host device constituting an information processor capable of controlling peripheral devices by being connected to the peripheral device control circuit and being in cooperation therewith. <P>SOLUTION: A peripheral device control circuit includes: a host interface unit to be connected to a host device via a bus for performing a forming operation of a bus link to establish a communication path with the host device; a connector unit; a peripheral device detecting unit for detecting that the peripheral devices are connected to the connector unit; a peripheral device identifying unit for identifying the connected peripheral devices; and a peripheral device interface unit. The host interface unit holds a plurality of identification codes corresponding to a plurality of kinds of connectable peripheral devices respectively, selects the identification code based on the identification result of the peripheral devices, and performs a forming operation of the bus link between the host interface unit and the host device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
