<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon deposition quantity evaluation apparatus and an evaluation method capable of measuring carbon deposition quantity by a simple configuration, capable of setting a coefficient necessary for an estimated formula of the carbon deposition quantity from the measured data and capable of estimating the carbon deposition quantity from the estimated formula. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon deposition quantity evaluation apparatus includes a sample part 1 for mounting a coal sample S, a heating part H for heating and carbonizing the sample S and a sampling part 2 for depositing and sampling carbon from a carbonized sample. The heating part H is composed of a first heating part Ha for heating the sample part 1, a second heating part Hb for heating the sampling part 2 and a heat insulation part 3a arranged between the first heating part Ha and the second heating part Hb. In a state that the second heating part Hb is heated at a carbonization temperature, the first heating part Ha is heated from a non-heated state up to the carbonization temperature, the carbon deposition quantity to an oven wall of a coke oven carbonization chamber during coal carbonization can be evaluated from the data of the deposited and sampled carbon quantity, and the carbon deposition quantity can be estimated from heat loss and a generated gas composition ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
