STEERING APPARATUS, AND KICKBACK DETERMINATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering apparatus that is able to properly cope with a kickback, and to provide a kickback determination apparatus.

SOLUTION: The steering apparatus includes: a steering member 2 that is provided in a vehicle and that is capable of being turned so as to steer the vehicle; and a determination device 8 configured to determine that a kickback state is present if an operation point determined according to the steering angle of the steering member 2 and the steering torque that acts on the steering member 2 is outside a criterion region that is determined beforehand. The steering apparatus and the kickback determination apparatus are able to properly cope with the kickback.
