<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file access management method and system in a distributed file system environment. <P>SOLUTION: In a file access management method and system in a distributed file system environment, each host computer is connected to one of file servers as a target file server, and issues a file access request to the target file server to access a target file stored in at least one of the file servers. A management computer collects load information from the file servers, analyses the load information by specifying locations of the target file and the target file server, re-distributes the target file among the file servers on the basis of the analysis, and re-assigns connection between the host computer and the target file server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
