<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking device which has a simplified a marking mechanism and enables good marking work. <P>SOLUTION: The marking device includes: a casing 2 covering a fastening member B; an ink tank 3 filled with ink; an operation shaft 4 penetrating through the ink tank 3 and movably operable; and a mark imparting member 5 mounted on one end of the operation shaft 4 and imparting a mark M by coming in contact with the fastening member B and a member to be fastened, and further includes a moving guide member 7 in which a guide cam face 7a is formed, wherein the mark imparting member 5 comes in slide contact with the guide cam face 7a in the course of moving of the operation shaft 4 from one side position to the side other position in a moving range.
