A contactless power feeding apparatus (100), which supplies power to a power reception apparatus (200) mounted on a moving body in contactless state, has formed thereon: a bottom plate (102) that constitutes a mounting face; a power transmission coil (112) that is arranged on the bottom plate (102), and supplies power to a power reception coil provided on the power reception apparatus (200); and a cover (114) that is to be mounted on the bottom plate (102) so as to cover the power transmission coil (112) arranged on the bottom plate (102). A layer of air is formed between the power transmission coil (112) and the cover (114).
