The present invention relates to an instrument used to insert microimplants and more particularly, to a microimplant insertion wrench that has a head on the instrument that allows the head to swivel and rotate upon the handle. The end of the head of the instrument comprises a receptacle that receives and retains a microimplant. The head of the implant wrench can be fixed into a predetermined angulation with the aid of a set screw. Microimplants can be inserted by a counter clockwise rotation of the knurled knob on the head of the instrument, and implants can be removed by clockwise rotation of the knurled knob on the head of the implant wrench. |
