<p>A digital television reception terminal and a method enabling multimedia instant messaging therefor are implemented based on an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network, and enable the digital television reception terminal to perform multimedia instant messaging conveniently and quickly with other communication devices with different service applications, which facilitates establishment of virtual community based on real user information and allows more convenient information exchange between digital television reception terminal users and between a digital television reception terminal and other communication devices. Meanwhile, during more efficient usage of resources in the radio film and television network in which the digital television reception terminal is located, integration of the radio film and broadcast network, the Internet and the mobile Internet is promoted by means of the IMS network, and the digital television reception terminal user viscosity and the value of the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) of the radio film and broadcast network are improved.</p> |
