摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MgO-C-based refractory which suppresses a texture to be deteriorated by the reaction between the MgO and C even in a high-temperature reduced pressure atmosphere, generates no falling damage, peeling damage or slag erosion, and has high durability, and also excellent corrosion resistance and slaking resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The MgO-C-based refractory includes: at least a matrix 2 containing a refractory material fine powder 10, graphite (C) and a binder comprising a carbonaceous material, and a refractory material coarse powder 5.
