<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book reading terminal which does not make a user dissatisfied while keeping opportunity to make the user interested in contents which the user has not read yet. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic book reading terminal (2) totalizes reading time based on a page turning operation receiving history of user input, for each page of an electronic book received from an electronic book distribution server (3). Subsequently, the electronic book reading terminal (2) determines whether the reading time per page is more than a predetermined chargeable duration or not, identifies pages taking more time than the chargeable duration as pages to be charged, and charges a user only for the pages to be charged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
