<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality lighting device which is thin and is excellent in luminance uniformity without deteriorating use efficiency of light emitted from a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device includes the light source 12, and a light-transmitting and reflecting layer 16 having a light-transmitting region 17 for transmitting light and a light-reflecting region 18 for reflecting light and arranged by being opposite to the light source. The light-transmitting and reflecting layer, wherein a pattern for controlling transmittance on the basis of an area ratio between the light-transmitting region and the light-reflecting region is applied, has a first luminance uniformity section, and a second luminance section which has luminance different from that of the first luminance uniformity section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
