PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate position control in a depth direction while adjusting a parallax.

SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image generation device for generating a stereoscopic image constituted of a right-eye image and a left-eye image includes: an image magnification and reduction part for magnifying or reducing the right-eye image and the left-eye image respectively, which constitute stereoscopic vision image data; and a display control part for presenting the right-eye image and the left-eye image of the stereoscopic vision image data respectively to a right eye and a left eye, so as to perform control to display a stereoscopic image. The image magnification and reduction part magnifies or reduces the right-eye image and the left-eye image respectively with a right-eye image reference point and a left-eye image reference point as references, based on parallax amount adjustment information including: a position of the right-eye image reference point and a position of the left-eye image reference point which are respectively arranged at different positions in accordance with the right-eye image and the left-eye image; and a magnification ratio of the right-eye image and the left-eye image.
