<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost light distribution control device capable of preventing an own vehicle from deviating from a traffic lane. <P>SOLUTION: The light distribution control device includes an advancing direction detection means and a light control means 2 for differentiating right and left brightness of a lamp which illuminates the forward area of the own vehicle, when detecting that the own vehicle has a risk of deviating right and left from the traffic lane from traffic lane information and steering information of the own vehicle. For example, the light control means 2 makes the brightness of the side where the vehicle deviates darker than that of the opposite side.
