<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder which can remove the sag of a second paper feeding tray 30 when a recording medium is carried by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the second paper feeding tray 30 which is so disposed as to advance or retreat with respect to the first paper feeding tray 3 and a paper feeding roller 20a on a first paper feeding tray 3 for feeding paper in a first containing part 3b one by one to a recording part 10 by a vertically rockable paper feeding roller 20a, and has a second containing part 30b which can contain a plurality of pieces of paper P1 in an accumulated state. When the paper P1 is fed from the second paper feeding tray 30, the second paper feeding tray 30 having a leading edge sliding part 31 and a movable part 32 is so configured that a downstream end in a feeding direction of the papers P1 and a two-sided end along the feeding direction are supported by the first paper feeding tray 3, and an abutment plate 44 in a side guide of the first paper feeding tray 3 supports a lower face of the a tip sliding part 31, and a place other than the downstream end and the two-sided end from downward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
