<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible hose for gas transportation or gas pressure transmission for preventing occurrence of trouble due to a gas that has penetrated an inner layer and is gradually accumulated between the inner layer and an outer layer. <P>SOLUTION: The flexible hose 10 comprises the inner layer 1, the outer layer 3 and a reinforcing layer 21 formed by braiding fibers 2 or wires for reinforcement so as to be interposed between the inner layer and the outer layer, wherein holes 5 having a depth reaching from the surface of the outer layer surface to at least the fibers or wires are drilled.
