<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant molding material and a lubricant application apparatus that can apply lubricant onto an image carrier with time with a stable application amount without increasing cost due to special detection means and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A lubricant molding material from which a powder of lubricant is shaved by a rotating brush roller to be supplied to an image carrier roller comprises two parts, namely a first part with high density and a second part with low density.
