<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fire extinguishing equipment that reduces unnecessary power consumption during normal operation, the fire extinguishing equipment automatically extinguishing a fire in cooperation with a fire signal emitted from automatic fire alarm equipment provided in an object to be protected from a fire. <P>SOLUTION: Power consumption is reduced by setting the fire extinguishing equipment during normal operation to a power-off state or power-saving mode. The power-off state or power-saving mode is immediately canceled when a fire signal from the automatic fire alarm equipment is received, to start the fire extinguishing equipment to extinguish the fire in predetermined operation. Further, a clocking means is provided.
