<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner formed to be a sphere with a small particle diameter, that improves transfer efficiency and does not generate dot dispersion upon fixation step, and an image forming method that uses the electrophotographic toner and can realize a high definition image. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophotographic toner includes a toner base particle including at least binder resin, colorant, mold release agent and charge control agent, and an external additive. The toner base particle is a particle that satisfies a certain condition, a certain inorganic particle in which the external additive is hydrophobized, and an inorganic particle with a small particle diameter, or a blend of certain ratios of the inorganic particle with the small particle diameter and an inorganic particle with a large particle diameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
