<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type display device capable of being installed well. <P>SOLUTION: A projector is provided with a body 100 and a case 200 storing the body 100 to be freely withdrawn. Disposed in the body 100 are: an optical modulation section 125 for modulating the light from a light source 121; a projection lens unit 131 which the light modulated by the optical modulation section 125 enters; and a reflection mirror 132 for reflecting the light transmitted through the projection lens unit 131 and directing the light to a projection surface. A socket for terminal 113 is provided on a back surface of the body 100 and an opening section 200a for exposing the socket for terminal 113 to the outside is provided in the back surface of the case 200. A terminal 301 of a communication cable 300 which is connected to the socket for terminal 113 is stored in a space formed between the back surface of the body 100 and the back surface of the case 200 when the body 100 is withdrawn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
