<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat sink easy to be processed, enabling manufacturing without a special jig when fixing a radiation fin. <P>SOLUTION: The heat sink includes: a pole member 2 to which a heat radiating device 1 is mounted; and a plurality of plate-shaped heat radiation fins 4 attached on an outer periphery of the pole member 2. Each groove 10 for inserting each heat radiation fin 4 into a ring-shaped retention member 8, mountable on the outer periphery of the pole member 2, is formed along the longitudinal direction of the pole member 2. A release stopper portion 6 for restricting the heat radiation fin 4 from releasing to the outside when the heat radiation fin 4 is inserted into each groove 10 is formed on the heat radiation fin 4. By inserting the heat radiation fin 4 to each groove 10 of the retention member 8, the heat radiation fin 4 is retained on the pole member 2. Further, an insertion hole 21 to which the pole member 2 can be inserted is formed at the center of a plate-shaped retention member 18, and each groove 20 is formed toward outside from the insertion hole 21. By inserting the heat radiation fin 4 into each groove 20 of the retention member 18, the heat radiation fin 4 is retained on the pole member 2.
