<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a light distribution pattern P4 for visually recognizing a pedestrian on an opposite lane side while avoiding darkening of a diffusion light distribution pattern P2 and an increase in cost of a whole device. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicular headlight 100 for a low beam, a main light distribution pattern P1 is formed by light made to transmit through a projection lens 4 out of the light from an elliptic reflecting surface of a reflector 2 reflecting light from a light-emitting element light source 1, and the diffusion light distribution pattern P2 is formed by light from a parabolic reflecting surface 22a of a reflector 22 reflecting light from a light-emitting element light source 21. A light distribution pattern P3 for visually recognizing an overhead sign is formed by light reflected by a reflecting surface of a reflector 6 and made to transmit through the projection lens 4 out of the light from a reflecting surface of a reflector 5 reflecting the light from the light-emitting element light source 1, and the light distribution pattern P4 for visually recognizing a pedestrian on an opposite lane side is formed by light from a sub reflecting surface 22b of the reflector 22 reflecting the light from the light-emitting element light source 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
