<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with a touch detecting function capable of reducing disturbance on a display even when static electricity is applied thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The display device with a touch detecting function includes: a liquid crystal display element for performing a display operation; a plurality of touch detecting electrodes TDL aligned extending in one direction, and outputting detecting signals respectively based on a change in an electrostatic capacitance according to an external proximity object; a conductive film (a conductive layer 52) insulated from the touch detecting electrodes or connected thereto at a high resistance and disposed to cover thereover; and a touch detecting section for detecting the external proximity object by sampling the detecting signals. The sheet resistance of the conductive film is a prescribed value or less, and a time constant of the conductive layer is larger than a prescribed minimum time constant that is defined by a sampling timing of the touch detecting section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
